How Baseball Connections works
Baseball Connections is about finding everything four players share. The sixteen players stay on the board throughout the round: discovering one connection does not remove its quartet. A useful selection can uncover several categories at once, and the same player can help you make many later discoveries.
How to play
- Select exactly four players, then choose Find connections. The game checks the categories shared by that quartet.
- Read each discovery's definition. Teams, awards, career statistics, managers, positions, birth countries and other traits can have different qualification rules.
- Reuse players and change your quartet to uncover something new. Every distinct connection counts once; connections you have already found remain visible as Already found.
Scoring
Your score is the number of distinct connections discovered out of the board's total. A selection with no new connection costs a strike, even if it repeats something valid. Three strikes end the round. Finding everything or confirming Finish also ends it. There is no timer.
Playing tips
Start with a clear common fact, then inspect the other discoveries that arrive with it. Before resubmitting a quartet, ask what new category you expect it to reveal. Different thresholds can count separately when the quartet meets both; guessing unrelated groups spends strikes quickly. Think beyond a player's current club: earlier career teams count too.
