How to play MLB Top Ten

Read the question and name the ten players in its ranking. A correct name fills its actual rank. You do not need to guess them in order.

You start with three lives. A new incorrect name costs one life. Repeating a correct or incorrect name does not cost another life. There is no timer and no Unlimited mode.

Your score is the number of players found, from zero to ten. Find all ten to complete the challenge. Losing the third life or confirming Give up finishes the Daily with your earned score and reveals the full ranking.

Today’s Daily is the same for everyone. Finished results cannot be restarted for a higher score. Past Dailies keep their original question, data cutoff and tie order.

Search suggestions are available names, not guaranteed answers. Rankings use the question’s published MLB scope; read its source note for season, qualification and tie rules. Future data imports do not change a saved Daily.

How MLB Top Ten works

MLB Top Ten asks for ten names from one statistical ranking. The exact question matters: a single season, a named period, hitting and pitching describe different answer sets. You can find the ten players in any order, with no timer.

How to play

  1. Read the full question before entering a name. Check the statistic and named years. Regular-season totals combine a player’s MLB teams and exclude the postseason.
  2. Select a player from search. A correct answer fills its actual ranking position, even when it is the first name you find.
  3. A new incorrect player costs one of your three lives. Repeating a previously accepted or rejected name does not cost another life.

Scoring

Your score is the number found, from zero to ten. Finding all ten completes the Daily. Losing the third life or confirming Give up preserves your accepted answers and earned score, then reveals the full ranking. A finished Daily cannot be restarted to improve the result.

Playing tips

Start with names you can connect to the precise statistic and period. Search suggestions are available players, not a list of qualifying answers. For a multi-season question, think about totals across those years rather than a player’s entire career. A player’s debut year does not disqualify them from the stated ranking. Past Dailies keep their original question and ranking.
